A quiet wedding occurred Sunday afternoon at two o'clock at thehome of John Slacks. Their granddaughter, Wreatha Darling, wasunited in marriage to Augustin Ox-ley of Wingate. The ceremony which united them as husband and wife was impressively performed bv Rev. M. K. Richardson before a few invited guests. Her grandma and grandpa made them a present of a beautiful piano. Theywill be at home in Wingate in*about two weeks.
