Skarda-NornsThe Very Rev. Monsignor Alfred Schneider performed the 2 p.m. Saturday marriage rites uniting Miss Shirley Ann Skarda and Kent Charles Norris. The ceremony took place at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kellners-ville.Mr. and Mrs. Leonard J. Skarda of Whitelaw are the bride’s parents. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Norris of Sturgis, Midi.Maid of honor was Miss June Dobberfuhl of G-reenleaf. Best man was Mark Myers.Bridesmaids were Mrs. Max Sartain of Naperville, 111., and Mrs. Lester E. Zipperer of Reedsville, sisters of the bride; and Miss Janet Hilgendorf of Grafton and Miss Janet Mueller of Henry, HI. Junior bridesmaid was Nancy Skarda, the bride’s sister.Serving as groomsmen were Terry Davis of Ann Arbor, Mich.; Ken Paris of Madison; Steve Allen; and Tom Long of Howe, Ind. Ringbearers were Scott Sartain of Naperville and Stephen Zipperer of Reedsville.Ushers were the bride’s brothers, Michael Skarda and Joseph Skarda.A dinner and reception for the couple were given at Kohlbeck’s Riverview Inn, Reifs Mills.The newlyweds will honeymoon in northern Wisconsin and Michigan and will reside at 3209 S. Michigan Ave., Chicago, 111.The bride is a 1969 graduate of Reedsville High School and will be graduated in 1973 from Vandercook College of Music, Chicago.The groom was graduated from Sturgis High School in 1967 and wiE be graduated from Vandercook College of Music, Chicago, in 1973.
