Ardene Wuthrich performed the marriage ceremony.Forming the background for the service were baskets of inums and greenery and seasonal cut flowers of white and orchid.The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of Chantilly lace over satin. The dress had a scalloped neckline with long sleeves that came to a point at the wrist and a softly pleated skirt. The satin train with Chantilly lace appliques, extended from a large bow at the back of the waist. Her finger-tip veil of nylon tulle was attached to a crown of seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of white carnations centered witha lavender orchid on a white Bible. From the bouquet extended satin ribbon streamers tied in love knots. She carried out the tradition of wearing something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue and a penny in her shoe.Serving as maid of honor was Miss Beverly Maresh, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Miss Gail Groce of Snook and Mrs. Dennis Groce of Bryan. They were identically attired in street-length dresses of lavender satin fashioned similar to the bride’s dress, with matching shoes and satin bows in their , hair and white gloves.
