MISS ELEANOR TAYLOR, BOSTON BRIDE-ELECT HONORED AT SHOWERBoston, Aug. 11.—The home of Mrs. H. G. Norton was scene of a shower-tea Friday from five to seven o’clock in the evening, at which Miss Betty Norton, Miss Patti Carson and Miss Betty Dekle were hostesses, honoring Miss Eleanor Taylor, bride-elect.Miss Taylor’s marriage to Roy Hallman was an event of Sunday, August 6, at the First Baptist church of Boston, at live o’clock.Around one hundred and twenty five guests called during the tea hours. They were received by the hostesses, their honor guests, Mrs. Taylor, mothes of the bride-elect, and Mrs. Hallman, mother of the groom-to-be.Decorations in the living room featured a modern arrangement of lavender spikes witn ginger lilies, and other seasonal flowers were used effectively. The tea table was beautifully appointed in silver and cutwork linen, centered with pale pink roses and burning white tapers. Garden flowers were used in the gift room, where the many lovely gifts were displayed.Miss Taylor and Mr. Hallman, members of their wedding party, and the out-of-town guests were entertained at a dinner party Saturday night before the wedding rehearsal by Miss Mary Ruth Leak and Miss Sue Carson, at the Leak home. Following rehearsal, the wedding party enjoyed an informal gathering, in honor of the bridal couple.
