Corporal Adam J. Czaikowski of Los Angeles, Calif, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Czaikowski of Milla dore, took Margaret G. Treml of Milladore as his bride in an early morning ceremony at St. Kilian’s Catholic church in Blenker on Wednesday, August 5. The Rev. Leonard Stieber read the 6,500” clock service and the church choir sang with Sister M. Wilhelmine at the organ. The bride’s gown of brocaded nni on was a button back model with lace inserts at the shoulders and waist. Shirted sleeves came to points at the wrist and the skirt ended in a long train. A beaded crown held her long lace-bordered veil and short blusher. She wore a double strand pearl necklace and carried white gladiolus and baby's breath in a shower bouquet. Miss Josephine Trem] of Milla dore was her sister's maid of honor in a gown of pink liion with short puffed sleeves inset with lace. A wreath of pink roses held her shoul der length veil. Another sister, Miss Veronica Treml of Minneapolis served as bridesmaid wearing light blue ninon with matching vet and wreath of blue roses. Pearl neck laces were gifts from the bride. Both wore gloves to match their gowns and had bouquets of pink gladiolus and baby’s breath. The groom's attendants were his brother, Joseph Czaikowski and Joseph Trem!, brother of the bride, both of Milladore. A reception followed at the home of the groom's parents, where the wedding breakfast, dinner and sup per were served. Pastel streamers and white wed ding bells were used in decorating the home. Out of town guests included Louis Caski, John Czashowski, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Sargeda and family, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Zigmant and daughter Mary and W. Brooks, all of Chicago; Dr. and Mrs. G. W. Reis and daughter, Junction City; Mr. and Mrs. Leo Sternweis, Marsh field; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kohel Jr., Auburndale; Misses Veronica and Monica Trem], Minneapolis; Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Bulhanek and family, Westmont, Hl. A. and B. Club— Guests of Mrs. Joseph Delain for Monday’s meeting of the A. and B. club were Mrs. W. H. Staples, Mrs. A.W. Triges and Mrs. E. J. Wal lace, each of whom received a spe cial favor. Club prizes for the eve ning’s game of rock were merited by Mrs. Edwin Johnson, Mrs. Ar thur Stewart and Mrs. Frank W. Calkins, with Mrs. H. M. Nelson winning the traveling award. Re freshments were served after cards were laid aside. * Y. F. W. Auxiliary— At its meeting last evening the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary voted a $10 donation toward the trainer plane program and made plans for the annual picnic to be held at Robinson park on August 23. Refreshments were served by Mrs. Eleanor Belgart and Mrs. Eu nice Gunderman. * Fourth Avenue Club— Mrs. Carl Anthofer and Mrs Frank Nash held the winning scores the latter also receiving the travel ing prize when the Fourth Avenue club played five hundred last eve ning at the home of Mrs. Vincent Nash. Mrs. Ernest Hagerstrom was presented with a guest prize. x oe OR English Lutheran Aid— Mrs. Oscar Kronholm and Mrs Wiliam Kronholm will be joint host esses to the First English Lutheran Ladies’ Aid when it meets at the church at 2 o’clock Thursday after noon.
