*Mr. and Mrs. Gary Stevenson .. .nee Barbara HaysHays-Stevenson*Miss Barbara Hays and Gary Stevenson exchanged wedding vows at 9 p.m. July 11 in theFirst Congregational Church. The Rev. William CamDbell, assisted by Rev. Loren Hiekerson, performed the double-ring ceremony.Parents of the bridal couple are Mr. and Mrs. William D. Hays of 805 Hubbard and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Stevenson of 2325 Lincoln.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of Chantilly lace featuring a basque bodice, a Sabrina neckline trimmed with sequins and pearls and a full-tiered ruffled skirt. Her cathedral length mantilla edged with matching lace was held by a Camelot headpiece of lace trimmed with pearls -and sequins. She carried a bouquet of yellow and white daisies.Diana Sehartz acted as maid of honor. Carla Stevenson, sister of the bride, Nancy Bradyand Minta Follis served as bridesmaids. They wore pastel yellow dresses with white hats and carried long-stemmed carnations.Jim Niekelson served as best man. Mike Stevenson, brother of the bridegroom, Dave Heffel and Dan Mason acted as groomsmen. Ushers were Dale Brady and Kerry Murray.Flower girl was Kimberly Tiede and ring bearer was Dale \ Kirmer. Kerry Murray was ; taperlighter. Musicians for the ; ceremony were Mrs. Bernard Taylor, organist and Keith Riggs, vocalistThe bride is a graduate of GBHS and Brown-Mackie School of Business. She is presently employed by Central Kansas power.The bridegroom is a graduate of BCCJC and is presently attending FHKSC majoring inaccounting.The couple plans to reside in Hays. . '
