MR. AND MRS. CLYDE GLOSSNERClyde Glossners are married fifty yearsLOCK HAVEN - Mr. and Mrs. Clyde G. Glossner, Lock Haven R.D. 1, will mark their golden wedding anniversary at an open house on Sunday, Aug. 13 at the home of their son, Clyde F. Glossner, Swissdale. They will welcome friends and relatives from 2 to 6 p.m.Mr, and Mrs. Glossner were married in the parsonage of Trinity Methodist Church on August 12 by the Rev. Oliver Metzler. Attending them were Irene Weise and John Keefer, the bride’s brother and sister.They first lived in Flemington R.D. 1 but have lived in their present house 36 years. They are active members of the Swissdale Church.Two of their children are deceased: Geraldine who died in 1940 and James who died in 1952.Mr. Glossner retired in 1968 after 35 years of service with the former New York and Pennsylvania Co., now Hammermill,They have three grandchildren. Clyde F. Glossner Jr.: George W. and Jesse N. Glossner.Mrs. Glossner’s sisters are Mrs. Harold Laubscher and Mrs. Florence Fenstemaker, Lock Haven R.D. 1 and Mrs. Sarah Helbley, Flemington,Lester Glossner, Lock Haven R.D. 1, and Ralph Glossner, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, are Mr. Glossner’s brothers.
