Michael Flanagan performed the ceremony before the altar decorated with white mums, gladioli and daisies.Hie bride is the daughter of Mrs. Donna Helmig, 1327 Moreland Ave.; and Clifford Helmig, Linn. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lambert Berendzen, Holts Summit.Soloigt was Clarence Blume.Given In marriage by her father, the bride wore an Empire styled gown of silk organza over peau de soie. The elbow length sleeves, etnpire waist, skirt and train were appliqued with imported scalloped lace. The bride’s gown was fashioned by her mother.Her bouffant fingertip veil was secured to an organza eabbage rose trimmed in seed pearls. Her bouquet was of white daisies and roses with white satin streamers.Miss Mary Berendzen, Jeffrson City, sister of the groom, was Maid of Honor. Misa Sherrv Helmlf. sister ofdaisies. She carried a white basket with white daisypetals.Best man was LionelGillmore, 602b Michigan St., c o u sin of the groom.Groomsman was Paul Berendzen, Wardsville Road, cousin of the groom.The guests were seated by Michael Bledsoe, Washington St., cousin of the bride: and Norbert Rackers, Holts Summit.Ring bearer was Master Scott Payne, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roice Payne, New Bloomfield.A reception was held at Selinger Center. Miss Wanda Humphrey and Miss Joyce Gillmore were at the reception table.Mrs. Lionell Gillmore was at the guest book.
