Tiers of net edged in Chantilly lace formed the billowing skirt. A coronet of pearls and sequins held her short veil of illusion. She wore a single pearl on a platinum chain around her neck and carried a pearl prayer hook mounted with a bou quet of white orchids, fleur d’amour and tuberoses.Miss Linda Faye McKenzie washer sister’s maid of honor and Mrs. Billy Caldwell of West Mon roe and Mrs. Robert DeCrosta ofBaton Rouge, the bridesmaids. Their taffeta dresses were made with large balloon skirts with bodices in a deeper shade of velvet with Dolphin hows at the hack. Their shoes were the same shade as their gowns and in (heir hair they wore matching bands of chiffon.The honor attendant was dressed in pink and carried an arm bouquet of pink rosebuds. The bridesmaids wore blue and carried bouquets of pink glame-lias. Rhonda Allbritton. dressed in a short white frock with wide bertha collar and tied in the back with a satin bow, acted as flower girl. Herbert Fink, Jr. was ring-bearer.Robert G. De Crosta served as best man and (he groomsmen and ushers included Jo Dean, Tom Romeo, of Baton Rouge, Robert Cooper and Roland Coates.A garden reception at the Fink home on Bayou DeSiard followed the ceremony. The entrance to the garden was marked by an arch entwined with smilax from which hung a large white wedding bell. Indirect lights in the trees andhurricane lamps placed about the lawn cast a soft glow over the colorful flower beds banked LWith white and pink caladiumleaves. Adding beauty to the setting were strings of white Japanese lanterns and blue love birds in white cages.L Receiving with the bride and groom were their mothers and the bride’s attendants. Mrs. Fink was dressed in turquoise lace with matching chiffon back panels. With this she wore a small pearl hat and hag with a corsageof white tuberoses. The groom’smother wore hyacinth blue chiffon designed with flowing skirt ac rented at the back with a large chiffon bow. Her accessories were white and she wore white rosebuds pinned at her shoulder.The bride's table, with its handsome rut work cloth, was centered with the tiered wedding cake, embossed in pink and blue, and topped with a miniature church. The punch table held a large centerpiece of blue and pink blossoms in a silver container further earring out the blue and pink color scheme. The bride’s bonk with a memory candle was placed on a lace covered table near the entrance.When the couple left for a wedding trip to Hot Springs, Arkansas, Mrs. Merle was wearing a biege linen frock with biegc and brown accessories and the orchid fror her bridal bouquet.
