LT. DULANEY—SLOAN NUPTIALS, The marriage of Mrs. Virginia Huguet Sloan daughter of Col. and Mrs. Adolphe H. Huguet, and Lieut’ Robert LeRoy Dulaney, 19th Infantry son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry B. Dulaney of Marshall, I iliac K was aal-emnised at 7 p. m. Mattmn, diaplain of the Hawaiian division, officiated.The bride, who wag fires in mar-rive by her father, wore a gown of silk lace, ashes of roses in cotar over a slip of peach satin. The gown was cut low in back with a broad girdle of biege satin. The broad sleerss of the short jacket were bound in the same material.Her hat was a copy of a French model in arise* of rose* tulle, with an uncurled ostrich ornament under the brim. Her slippers were biegy crepe and satin sandals. The diamond and pearl necklace which she wore 'was also worn by her mother as a bride, as was the pearl and sapphire pin. She carried a floral muff of gardenias.Th» bride* sister, JMfef Julie Huguet, was her only attendant. Miss Huguet wore a gown of orchid and lavendar mous«elin« lt;j» sole over pink crop# de chene with a low cut surplice of orchid taffeta which tied in back with a flat bow. The jacket was of orchid taffeta with large puffed sleeves. Her hat was of orchid mohair with blue velvet ribbon looped in back under a pink gardenia. The maid of honor’s bouquet wae of pink roses, purple and orchid sweet peas and blue forgetmenots made up in quaint old-fashioned style with a lace frilLThe bride’s mother wore peacock blue silk lace over shell pink satin, with a short lace jacket. Her hat was pink horsehair braid trimmed in blue angel-akin satin. Pink orchids formed her corsage bouquet.Musfe, selected by the bride, was played by Mrs. Thearl W. Eseig, The prelude was Tree* (Joyce Kilmer and Rasbach), followed by The Temple Bells (Woodforde-Finden), Because (D'Hardelot), The Swan (Saint-Saens), The Waters of Minnetonka (Laurence), and Sly Heart at Thy Sweet Voice (Saint-Saens). The Bridal Chorus from Lohengrin was played as a processional and Mendelssohn's Wedding March a recessional. During the ceremony, the organist played Gounod’s Ave Maria.Lt. Francis J. Grating, 35th Ir.f., acted as best man. The four ushers were Capt. George 0. A. Daughtry, Lt. Thomas H. Wells, Lt. John P. Ev-ands and Lt, Maury S. Cralle,After the ceremony at the chapel, the wedding party dined at the Hale-iwm Beach club. Tables were decorated with white gardenias, white roses, white gladioli, green tapers. Music for dancing was provided by the 19th Infantry orchestra.
