Father Francis Smith officiated. Mrs. Wayne Koontz was organist and Mrs. David Roueche was soloist, oThe bride is the daughter of Mrs. George Manney McCanless of Salisbury and the late Mr: McCanless., She was graduated from Boy den High school and attended Lees-McRae College at Banner Elk, both of Salisbury. She was presented to International Society in December at the International Society Debutante Ball.Mr. Duncil was graduated from Morgantown High School and West Virginia University. He is a member of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity. He is associated with Jefferson Standard inCharlotte, N.C.The bride was given in marriage by her brother-in-law, J. Frank Efird of New Bern, N.C. She wore a semi-fitted A-line gown of antique ivory re-embroidered Alencon lace on English net over silk peau desoie.:Her mantilla of re-embroidered lace on illusion swept unto a cathedral length train. She carried a nosegay of. ivory shade butterfly roses, stephanotis, fleur d’amour, gypsophila arid Baker’s fern tied with ivory velvet ribbons.Mrs. j. W. Kincaid Jr., of New Bern, served .her sister as matron of honor. Other attendants were: Miss Sally Duncil of Morgantown, sister of the bridegroom, and Mrs J. Frank Efird of New Bern, sister of the bride.
