James Owen Roberts are at home at Beaverburg, on the I'liilfton College campus after their marriage in the First Methodist Church in BlufTton on Saturday, July 0. 107. Rev. James Iloiningcr performed the ceremony at 7 o’clock in the evening.Mrs. Roberts is the former Miss Lora Jean Triplehorn, daughter of .Mr. and Mrs. Murry Triplehorn, Route 2, RlufTton and her husban 1 i the son of Mr. and Mrs. Owen Roberts of near Corner.Music for the services was furnished by Mrs. James Szabo. organist, who played “Because”, “O Promise Me,” “The Lord's Prayer.” and I Love Thee.” The altar of the church was decorated with three candelabra entwined with foliage and white ribbons.The bride selected Miss Raelcen Bucher of Rluffton, as maid of honor and Roger Bixel of La-Catvidlt;wedArtTfnyette, ovi d the groom.For her marriage the bride selected a gown of white Chantilly lace over satin. The fitted bodice featured a V neckline and long sleeves that tapered to points at her wrists. The skirt was bouffant and ballerina length. She car-! ried a bouquet of pink roses and stephanotis and her pearl earrings and necklace were gifts from the groom.Miss Bucher wore a frock ofwhite organza with trimming of 0green and yellow. In her hair she wore daisies and Her-bouquet was 'also of yellow and white daisies.Mrs. Triplehorn, for her daughter's wedding selected a black and white printed frock with white ae-j -^r-; eessories. Both mothers had a cor-I sage of pink roses and white ar-. daisies.Following the ceremony a reception was held in the church social roomsFor their honeymoon to Michigan the bride wore a black and white jacketed frock with white accessories and the rose corsage from her bridal bouquet, j The new Mrs. Roberts is a grad-! uate of Bluffton High School and the Frederick’s Beauty Academy j of Lima. Her husband graduated from Corner High School and is a ! senior at Bluffton College.
