Wedding BellsSNOW—FRENCHBAY ROBERTS—A very lovely wedding was solemnized at the United Church Coley’s Point on July 18th at 8 p.m., when Rev* J.S, II. Moran united in marriage, Susie Jean, eldest daughter of i Mr. and Mrs, Clyde French to j Adrian Russell, eldest son of Mr. | and Mrs. Wm, Snow, both of j Country Road. The bride, given | in marriage by her father, looked j very lovely in a floor length gown of white lace over tulle, finger tip veil and cap shaped headdress of net, and acrried a bouquet of carnations. She was attended by Miss Clarice Russell, who was prettily gowned in floor length pink lace over tulle with match* ing headdress and Miss Vera King whose gown was mauve lace with matching headdress. Both carried bouquets of carnations.The groom was attended by his brother Williarfi and the bride’s brother Gerald, while Graham French, brother of the groom, and Mr. Allan Efford nobly performed the duties of ushers.During the signing of the register Mrs. Clayton Snow beautiful* ly rendered “0 Perfect Love,”Immediately following the ceremony the bridal party motored to Hr. Grace, thence to the United Church School, Country- Road where the reception was held.The toast to the bride was pro-1 posed by Rev, Moran, who in his usual fine style paid - tribute to the bride, having known her for a number of years, and was responded to by the groom. Mr.Gerald French toasted the bridesmaids. This was responded to- by Mr. Graham French. The young couple were the recipients of many beautiful and useful gifts, and show the esteem in which they were held. Best wishes areextended for thir futur happinss.
