Vows exchanged June 1Mr. and Mrs. James Goche Jr.On Saturday. June 1, at 2 p.m., Sharon Maria Kadow and James William Goche Jr. were married at St. John Catholic Church, Bancroft The Rev. Richard Ries officiated the double ring ceremony.Parents of the couple are James and Eileen Kadow of Burt and James and Carol Goche of Bancroft. Honored guests were the couple’s grandmothers,Fern Kadow of Fulton, MO,Agnes Vaske and Fran Rustemeir of Bancroft.Guests were ushered to their seats by Dan Berte, Bancroft, Brian Ricke,Lakota, and George Vaske, Estherville.Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride was attended by her sister,Marcia of Winona, MN, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the groom’s sisters, Maureen Ingalls of Bancroft, Mary Degan of Williamsburg and Molly Goche of Bancroft.Sharon's cousin, Ashley Schiltz, was the flower girl and Matt Goche, James's cousin was the ring bearer. Serving Sharon as personal attendants were her sister-in-law Jeanette Kadow of Burt, Denise Vaske of Bancroft and Sandee Vaske of Estherville.Phil Goche of Bancroft was best man for his brother. Eric Kadow of Burt, the bride's brother. Bob and Clint Goche, James’s brothers, were the groomsmen.Music was furnished by organist Lael Kahier and vocalist Sheila Laubenthal. Mass servers were Jerome Schiltz and Bruce Tigges. Gifts were carried to the altar by Amy Degan, the groom's niece, Katie and Courtney Pape. Roxy and Kate Vaske and Monica Schiltz, cousins of the bride.Gene Tigges of Fenton was the lector and Bill Vaske of Knoxville served as the communion distributor. Both are Sharon’s uncles.LauraTigges of Ames was the offertory lector and pinned flowers, as did Nancy Vaske Pape of Del-mar. NY, Sharon’s aunt. The bride’s cousins, Diana Kroll of New Bloomfield, MO and Sheila Vaske of Knoxville distributed programs.Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the North Kossuth Golf Club, Charley and Maiy ElaineQuinn, great-uncle and aunt of the couple, and Dale and Joyce Schiltz, Sharon’s uncle and aunt, hosted the reception.Coffee pourers were Jan Hatten of St. Louis Park, MN, James's aunt, and Dorothy Kroll of New Bloomfield, MO, the bride's aunt. Charlene Elsbecker and Judy Goche of Bancroft, aunts of the groom, cut the cake. Katie Pape and Roxy Vaske attended the guest book.Music for the wedding dance was provided by ‘RuffHousin’,Mrs. Goche is a 1990 graduate of North Kossuth High School at Swea City and is a student in the accounting specialist program at Iowa Lakes Community College.James graduated from St. John High School, Bancroft in 1989 and is engaged in farming.After a honeymoon trip to the Badlands and Yellowstone National Park, the couple is at home in rural Bancroft.
