Prichard-Dudgeon Vows Are PledgedWedding vows were spoken by Miss Mary Ann Prichard and Rodney Lee Dudgeon in a Saturday evening service performed in the sanctuary of the United Methodist Church of Mendon.The Rev. Joseph Hallis, assisted by the Rev. Paul Mazur, officiated at the double ring ceremony which took place before an altar graced with huge vases of white and yellow snapdragons and pompons.•The bride is the daughter of MJ*. and Mrs. Edwin Prichard of Rt. 1, Venedocia, and the bridegroom’s parents are Mr. aifd Mrs. Donald Dudgeon of Rt. 1, Mendon.A musical prelude was presented by Paul Turner of Fort Wavne, organist, and Mrs. Glenn Masser of Mendon, vocalist, who sang “The Lord’s Prayer” as the couple knelt at the altar.Hurricane lamps accented with white satin bows marked the aisle along which the bride was escorted by her father. She wore a classic Empire gown of candlelight satin with a chiffon overlay. The bodice was fashioned with a bateau neckline and short sleeves and was contoured with Alencon lace as were the sleeves and A-line skirt. Crystalettes and tiny pearls added accent.A detachable train flowed gracefully from mid-shoulder to chapel length and was detailed wu'h lace appliques, crystalettes apd pearls.■ Her finger-tip veil of ivory French silk illusion was secured to a crown of tiny pearls. She carried a nosegay of yellow roses and stephanotis accented with streamers tied in lovers* knots.Maid of honor was her sister,' Miss Sharon Prichard of Fort Wayne, who wore an A-line floor length gown of yellow chiffon over peau de soie. The Emoire bodice had a bateau neckline, short sleeves and tiny rosebud braid in shades of yellow and green marking the vfaistline. A chiffon floor-length train added back interest.-She wore matching yellow sfwes and white gloves, a gift of the bride. Her headpiece of yellow' and white feathered carnations with yellow illusion veiling was complemented by her nosegay of identical yellow and white feathered carnations accented with green streamers.Appearing in gowns and accessories identical to that of the maid of honor were the bridesmaid. Miss Eugenia Evans, close friend of the bride, and Miss Vivian Dudgeon, sister of the bridegroom, who was junior bridesmaid. Their gloves were also gifts from the bride.For her daughter's wedding Mrs Prichard chose a mint green sheath jacket dress styled with a high neckline accented with pearls and crystals. Mint green and bone accessories complemented her attire.*. The bridegroom's mother selected a beige lace dress with matching accessories. Guests were seated by Gary Miller and Ron Miller, both of Mendon.The men of the bridal party were attired in dark tuxedos and had white carnation boutonnieres. The bridegroom’s boutonniere was a yellow rose taken from the bridal bouquet.The couple presented white carnation corsages to' Mrs. Charles Prichard, grandmother of the bride, Mrs. Stanely Watta and Mrs. Blanche Dudgeon, grandmothers of the bridegroom, and Mrs. W. M. Hays, great-grandmother of the bridegroom.Registering the guests at a reception which took place in the church social room im-mediately following the ceremony was Miss Juanita Miller of Mendon. She wore matching brown accessories.The newlyweds will be at home to friends and relatives on Rt. 1, Venedocia.The bride is a graduate of Lincolnview High School and attended International Business College, Fort Wayne.
