BoehmSEEKONK, Mass. — St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Seekonk at 11 a.m. Saturday was the scene of the wedding of Miss Mlchaele M. Welch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence J. Welch of 29 Hlllcrest Ave., Seekonk, and Lt. Robert Warren Boehm, U.S. Marine Corps, son of Mrs. Lillian Boehm of Bergenfield, N.J., and Gerhardt Boehm of Bonn, Germany.The Rev. Cornelius Keleher officiated at the ceremony and was celebrant of the Nuptial Mass. Mrs. Annis Halworth was organist and G. Osterguy was soloist, singing Ave Marlaand O Lord I Am Not Worthy.The church altar had been decorated with bouquets of purple iris.The bride, escorted by her father, wore a gown of white silk organza In cage effect, designed with round neckline and long tapered sleeves. The hem, sleeves, yoke and attached chapel train were ornamented with lilies of the valley drawn in Venlse lace. She wore a matching headpiece from which fell a full-length veil of silk illusion. The bridal bouquet was of white carnations and purple daisies.Miss Carol Greenwood of Seekonk was maid of honor and Miss Cheryl Galipeati of Bennington, Vt., cousin of the bride, Miss Paula King of Newport, R.I., and Miss Karen Boehm of Bergenfield, N.J., sister of the bridegroom, were the other attendants.The bride’s attendants were all attired in floor - length white crepe gowns fashioned with Empire bodice and cowl neckline. Each wore a headpiece of freshflowers of purple carnations and pink daisies and carried matching colonial bouquets.Bruce H. Boehm of Bergenfield was best man. Barry A. Welch, brother of the bride, of Seekonk and John Mulfinger of Bergenfield were ushers.A reception followed at Pawtucket Country Club. The bride's mother, the former Priscilla Walker of Bennington, received in a mauve silk linen dress with matching accessories. The bridegroom’s mother wore a blue crepe dress and had matching accessories.Following a wedding trip to Washington, D.C., the couple will reside in Meridian, Miss.The bride is a graduate of Attleboro High School and a 1964 graduate of the University of Rhode Island. A graduate of Bergenfield High School, the bridegroom attended U.S. Military Academy at West Point and is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island.
