Walsh becomes bride of MorrellBillianne Walsh and Adam Scott Morrell were united in marriage on Saturday, June 22, at the Wellsboro United Methodist Church. Pastor Mark Shover and Pastor William Vallet performed the double-ring ceremony.Soloists Johnna Little of Westfield who sang “Ave Maria” and William and Linda Vallet of Pine City, N.Y., who sang “One Hand, One Heart,” were accompanied by organist Karen Storch of Elmira, N.Y. Other songs in the ceremony were “Canon in D” by Pachelbel, “Alegro Maestoso” by , Chopin, and “Trumpet Voluntary” by Clarke, performed by Brett Long of Galeton.The bride is the daughter Of Daniel T. Walsh and Drexanne Walsh, both of Wellsboro. The groom is the son of Shelly Bishop and the late Arthur L. Morrell of Farmington, N.Y.The bride chose a traditional bridal gown of white matte satin designed with a bateau neckline and empire waist accented with silver embroidery above an A-line skirt featuring a detachable chapel-leogth train. Her headband of rhinestones and pearls secured a two-tier waist-length veil of bridal illusion scattered with pearls and rhinestones. She carried a bouquet of sterling roses accented with sheer lavender ribbon.The bride chose Melissa Morral of Wellsboro, friend of the bride, as her matron of honor. She wore a floor-length gown of orchid crepe-back satin designed with a modified square neckline, short-sleeve embroidered bodice and empire waistline above an A-line skirt and carried a round bouquet of purple lisianthus, white alstromeria, and small lavender poms accented with white and lavender sheer ribbons.The bride also chose Raquel Carleton ofW^llsboro, sister of the bride, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lisa Morrell of Farmington, N Y., sister-in-law of the groom, Melissa Loomis of . Mansfield, friend of the bride; and Michelle Littleton of Kissimmee,! Fla friend i the bnde. They wore gowns matching the matron of honor and carried similar bou-1 quets. Junior bridesmaid was * Peyton Loomis of Mansfield,| friend of the bride.The flower girl, Abbey Carleton of Wellsboro, niece of the bride,* carried a white and lavender basket of sterling roses.Best man for the groom was ' Aaron Morrell of Farmington, N.Y., brother of the groom. Serv-MR. AND MRS. ADAM MORRELLing as ushers were Kevin Vaughn of Macedon, N.Y, Scott English of Honeoye Falls, N.Y., Jason Ford of Canandaigua, N.Y., and Seth Goodreau of Wellsboro, all friends of the groom. Serving as junior groomsman was Ian Carleton of Wellsboro, nephew of the bride. Austin Morrell of Farmington, N. Y., nephew of the groom, served as ring bearer.Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Wellsboro Firemen’s Annex.The bride is a 1992 graduate of Wellsboro High School and a 1996 and 2001 graduate of Mansfield University. She is employed by the Northern Tioga School District as a seventh and eighth grade English teacher at Cowanesque Valley High School.The groom is a 1992 graduate of Victor Central High School, Victor, N.Y., and a 1995 graduate of Finger Lakes Community College, He is currently employed by Coming Inc.After a trip to Las Vegas, Nev., the couple wUl reside in Elkland.
