Karen McCutchen, Gary Pope Plan Wedding in SeptemberMr. and Mrs. Joe McCutchen, 421 Mesquite Street, Amarillo, formerly of Wellington, announce the engagement of their daughter, Karen Jo, to Gary Pope.Parents of the prospectiveMr. and Mrs. Nicholas Grasso and Donna of Bridgeport, Connecticut are visiting her mother, Mrs. Nannie Johnson, this week.Guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Don Manuel this weekend were his cousin, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Manuel, Mike and Mark ofbridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. James Pope, 2813 Magnolia, Amarillo.Miss McCutchen is the granddaughter of Mrs. Mabel Epps of Wellington. Mrs. Ruth Brewer of Dallas and the late Johnny Cagle. She is the great granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Williams, formerly of Wellington.The couple will be married September 20, in Ridgecrest Baptist Church, Amarillo.The bride-to-be is presently employed with Equitable Title Co.. while her fiance is employed with Cains Coffee Company.
