Lorraine Greene Wed In Ernest Union ChurchMr. and Mrs, Thomas Charles MoodyAt ft beautiful candle light ceremony in the Ernest Union Church, Miss Lorraine Greene became the bride of Thomas Charles Moody, The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Greene of Indiana, R.D. 4. The groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Moody of Ernest.Rev. L. H. Pearson of Dixon-ville officiated at a double-ring ceremony before an altar banked with ferns and candelabra at half after seven o’clock Saturday, June 1.Miss Linda Stalnecker, friend of the bride sang O Promise Me, 0 Perfect Love, and The Lord’s Prayer. She was accompanied by Miss Nancy Sahli.Given in marriage by her father, the bride appeared in a gown of Chantilly lace, fashioned with long pointed sleeves, a scalloped neckline trimmed with pearls and sequins and a fitted princess bodice. The full bouffant skirt had a tulip-effect front and tiered lace back. Her bouffant veil of silk illusion was held by a crown of seed pearls. She carried a cascade of white carnations centered with a white orchid. The traditional something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, was carried through.Preeeeding the bride to the altar was the maid of honor, Miss Rita Pizer, a friend of thebride. The bridesmaids were Mary Moody, a sister of the groom, and Rose Marie D’Am-ico, friend of the bride. The maid of honor and bridesmaids were attired in street - length gowns of pink silk chiffon with fitted lace bodice and long fitted sleeves. Their veils were held by a crown of pearls. They carried cascades of pink and white carnations,Linda Jean O’Hearn and Deb-by Lynn Wilson, nieces of the bride, were her flower girls. They were attired in pink organza dresses. Their veils were held by a band of flowers and each carried a small basket of rose petals.Mr. Moody chose his cousin, Harry Schloder, as his best man. Harold Moody, brother of the groom, and Ed Grccnc, brother of the bride, were ushers.The mother of the bride chose a blue dress with lace bodice and organza silk skirt over taffeta with white accessories. The groom’s mother chose a beige knit dress with light green accessories. Both mothers wore corsages of white carnations.The reception following the ceremony was held at the Ernest Hall, and was served by aunts and friends of the bride and groom. Music was played by Sammy and Ray’s Orchestra.Out of town guests were from Massachusetts, Louisiana, Michigan, Ohio, Maryland, McKeesport, Brookville, Pittsburgh, Cly-mer and Homer City.The bride is a graduate of Indiana Joint High School, class of 1961, and is employed by Fair-view Super Market. The groom is a graduate of Indiana Joint High School, class of 1960, and is employed by the Hunter Corporation of Blairsvillc.After their honeymoon in the New England states, the new Mr. and Mrs. Moody are residing at Brady’s Trailer Court, Indiana.(Bender Studio)
