She carried a colonial bouquet of white carnations.The best man, Louis Vickery of Shawneetown, and other men in the wedding party wore blue business suits with white carnationboutonniers.The bride’s mother. Mrs. Patton.chose for her daughter's wedding a light blue linen dress with whiteaccessories and a corsage of pinkcarnations.The groom's mblher, Mrs. Bart ley, wore a light blue linen dress with white accessories and a corsage of pink carnations.Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents. The bride's table was, appropriately decorated centered with a three tier wedding cake topped with a miniature bride and groom. Hostesses were the bride's sister-in-law, Mrs. George W Patton, the bride's aunt, Mrs. William Sweat and Mrs. ArnoldRineck.The new Mrs. Bartley, a graduate of Shawneetown CommunityHigh School, was employed as typist in Springfield.
