daViCELEBRATE 65TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY—Mr. and Mrs. T.E. Whitlock of Raleigh, who celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary last Saturday, Aug. 1, were not only thankful for their long life span together but for the fact that not one of the family has died in that time.The Whitlocks reared a family of eleven children, all of whom are still living* The eldest child is 63. They also have 32 living grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.The eleven children are Blanche. Jesse, Ralph and Walter, of Harrisburg; Lee, Clifford, Mrs. Wesley Hubbard, Mrs. Pearly Tison and Mrs. Allen Johnson, all of Pontiac, Mich.; Thomas G., of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and Arthur, of Chicago.Mr. Whitlock is 86 and his wife, 80. Both were born in Saline county and have lived in the Raleigh community all their lives. They were married in 1888 in Eldorado. Mrs. Whitlock is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ewing Glascock, of Harrisburg and Raleigh, and her husband is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Henry Harrison Whitlock, of Raleigh community.Mr. Whitlock inherited a farm from his father and the couple moved there shortlv after their wedding day.
