Vases of gladioli together with tail palms and lighted tapers adorned the altar.A program of nuptial music was presented prior to the ceremony with Thomas C. Giles singing Schubert's Ava Maria, Malotte's The Lord's Praver and “On This Day, Oh, Beautiful Mother.”Robert Sigl, brother - in - law of the groom, served as best man. Ushers were A1 Nori, ' Charles Purdum and John Es-■ posito.I Mrs. Sigl was matron of honer. while Miss Vilma Slezak.I younger sister of the groom.Miss Mary Hummel and Miss ’ Potty Rudder of Hamilton, ho*h close friends of the bride, served as bridesmaids.; AT HALF - AFTER - five th« bride’s a 11 endanls appeared ■ Their pretty gowns of orchid, i yellow, blue and green formed i a rainbow of color. The gowns were designed with high round neckline topping a yoke of marquisette. The yoke was com-r pleted with a wide ruffle of taffeta which extended across the front and joined the wee puffe l .sleeves. A narrow ruffle adorned the waistline of the 1 fitted bodice, and the extremely full skirt was of circular design that moulded the waist-the wide ruffles that formed a deep point. #Pretiy headbands motcned their gown*.Mrs. Sigl appeared in orchid marquisette over crisp taffeta. I Marquisette over taffeta was repeated in the gowns of the bridesmaids, with Miss Slezak wearing yellow, Mia* Hummei, | blue and Miss Rudder, nile green. A rosy lavender hue was used to form the lovely bouquets of pom-poms.The bride walked to the altar; alone. Her gown of tradition-! al heavy bridal satin was of a lush ivory hue. An upstanding collar richly encrusted with a seed pearl design gave the gown a Victorian air. The pearl design was repeated to adorn the low, round neckline.The gown was designed with5 snug fitting bodict, and princess sleeves that tapered gent-1 ly at the hands. The voluminous skirt fell in rippling folds and | swept back In’o a majestic train.Her full length veil of sheer illusion was clasped to a snug head band designed of Illusion and tr’mmH with pearls. Her' bridal bouquet of snow white pom poms was fashioned with streamers of satin that cascaded to the hemline of her gownFOLLOWING THE double ring ceremony a reception was held in Knights of Columbus Hall for approximately 350 guests Bright gladioli in pretty hues were used to decorate the room Center of attention was the bridal table which was prettily appointed and centered with a four tiered wedding cake topped with miniature bride and groom.The bride’s mother received guest* in a gown of light blue with white accessories and a * corsage of pink roses. Mrs Slezak choose royal blue with i v • ’e accr*;orifi R id a corsage / of white pom perns.The couole left immediately j for an unknown destination. The 1 br ie changed to a stunning red \ suit trimmed with touche* of ' deep n*vy. Her accessories were navy to compliment the , suit, and she selected an attrac-tive navy hat to complete her “ ensemble. Upon returning. Mr. £ and Mrs. Slezak will reside at , 1733 Central Ave.Mrs. Slezak is the daughter of Mrs. Vema Dishon and the granddaughter of Mrs. Grant 0 Smith of Vannest St. She was h graduated from Monroe High School and is employed by the n J.
