Couple Will Mark 60th Anniversary ; At Dunkirk TodayMr. and Mrs. Charlie RinehartADA, Aug. 6 — The home in which thev have lived 52 year- will be th* scene Thursday of the 60th wedding anniver-; sary observance for Mr. and ; Mrs. Charlie Rinehart, Dunkirk.The couple were married il Leipsic, Aug, 7, 1887 at the home of the bride’s parents by Rev. Clarence Funkey. The honeymoon consisted of a horse and buggy drive to Findlay where I they were dinner guests of Mr. Rinehart’s brother. They returned to Leipsic and attended church in the evening, j Among the attendants at the wedding 60 years ago were Mrs. Rinehart'?; brothers, Ralph Siler, now of Lima, and John Siler, who recently returned to Manila. P.I.i Mr. Rinehart was born near j Jenera, and moved to Findlay at the age of 14. Mr. Rinehart own-| ed and managed the Rinehart Conrad Minstrel show. The troop carried about 25 people and played stands at opera houses in northwest Ohio. One of the popular minstrel tunes of that day was My Little Black Coon.” He was later employed with lumber yards at Oakdale, Bucyrus and Kenton. At the age of 79 his hobby is gardening j Mrs. Rinehart, 78, is the former Mary Catherine Siler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Siler, Leipsic. Mrs. Siler's life has been a busy one. Besides her home iand church work Mrs. Rinehart I has been an avid crocheter of : rugs.She ha? found time to carry on scrap books started by her : father during the Civil War times. Mr. and Mrs. Rinehart have one daughter, Mrs. Ray Gilmore i of Ada: a grandson, Ben Gii-' more Dayton, and great grandson Phil Gilmore, Ada.
