Black-McCurryMiss Madge McCurry became the bride of Marvin Black in a wedding solemnized Saturday night, August 2, at the home of Judge McConnell, who officiatedat the service.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond McCurry of Salem. Mr. Black is the son of the late Paul Gaston Black of( Buck Island. He was graduated from West Limestone High school May 9, 1941.The couple left Sunday after their marriage with the groom's sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Beasley, of Harriman, Tenn. Mr. and Mrs. Black while in Tennessee will tour the eastern section, stopping at Norris Dam, Knoxville, the new Cherokee Dam and then they will ; spend part of their time in the Great Smokies. Later they will return to the home of the groom’s mother, Mrs. Vona Christopher Black, where they will stay a while. * *
