Marriage of Miss Louise Norton And James T. Cone Celebrated At First Baptist Church HereA wedding of much prominence took pine* Tuesday afternoon at th* Hrst Baptist church when Miss Louise Norton, daughter ©f Mr. and Mrs, J, A, Norton, 4IW Stonewall street, became the bride of .lames T. Cone of Port Arthur. The Rev 0. B Jackson, pastor, performed ths Impressive ring ceremony of (in Saptlsi church.The altar, banked with palms, ferns and smilax. interwoven in the trellis was arranged for the pledg Ing of the marriage vows and made an exquisite background for the aervice. Two tiers of long whit* taper* rose from the center of the altar and burned throughout the ceremony.Bridal Moslc.The pre-nuptial music was offered by Farrell Welsh, violinist, who played Poem'* by Fibieh, and during the ceremony he played Llebestrsum ” Mrs. Joy Lindsey Dick sang All for You” by d'Her-delot They were accompanied by Mrs. Madge Cowan who played the traditional wedding processional and recessional for the marches.The bride, who was given In marriage by her father, wore a town .of bridal satin vogue style cut on princess Unas. The long sleeves were designed with Nun-styled cuffs, and the costume featured a cowl neck and a high corded walatline. The skirt was fitted to the knee and flared into a short train The extra train was clasped at the shoulders. Her finger tip veil of bridal illusion was caught to her hair with a comet of orange blossom*. Her slippers were at while aatin.The bridal bouquet was of white carnations and UUes of the valley. They were dressed in pink net frocks over pink satin trimmed with ruffles and wore pink hair ri s.Mrs. Cone is one of the most popular members of the social set here, and her marriage has been proceeded with a large number of entertainments. For the past two years she has been a teacher In the public school system of this city, and was connected with the Sulphur Springs schools for three years. She has received her education in the public schools of this city and is a graduate of Greenville high school Mod Burleson College. Mrs Gone also holds the bachelor of art* degree from Baylor University. where she majored in English and took extensive course* in music.
