Jones ofManchester Jowu and Miss May Johnson of LeMars.The above will no doubt prove a surprise.to the many friends of the contracting parties. Mr. Jones came here quietly on Friday morning, from Manchester, and behaved naturally. His most intimate friends htul no idea that he contemplated anything serious. But Sunday morning he drove to the house of his inamorata, brought her to town and the deed was consummated. Mr. Jones was for a number of years it resident of LeMars. He is now in business at Manchester, and is having si good trade. The lady is a daughter of Isaac Johnson Eslt;|., living two miles north of town, and is a young lady of modest, retiring disposition well-liked hy those who know her. The Liberal wishes the new-made husband and wife every joy that is given to mortals. Mr. and Mrs. Jones will remain for a few days at the home of the bride, uml then leave for Manchester.
