Leavitt Sr. of Sutton, was married Saturday afternoon to David Ramkey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Ramkey of Charleston, The Rev. Joseph G. Stump and the Rev. William Ramkey, uncle of the bridegroom, officiated at the Christ Church United Methodist here.Sue Thomas, organist, accompanied the soloist, Barbara Haynes, and the bride was given in marriage by her father.* * *SHE WORE a long gown of silk organza trimmed with Venise lace. The bodice was styled with a round neckline and Camelot sleeves and the full skirt, falling from an empire waist, was styled with Venise lace and pearl appliques arid a ruffled hemline extending into a cathedral train. A headband of Venise lace with a silk organza bow held her veil of silk illusion. She carried a colonial bouquet of white miniature carnations, snowdrift pompons and baby’s breath with spkigerie accents.Matron of honor was Mrs. Larry Mentzer of Morgantown and bridesmaid was Mrs. Wayne Northery of Bridgeport. Katherine Ann Boggs .of Sutton and Carol Ann Leavitt, sister of the bride, were junior bridesmaids.* * *JOE CHRISMAN served as best man and ushers were Roger Hamood of Huntington, Stephen Leavitt, brother of the bride, and Mike Graham of Bluefield.A reception was held in the church social room, after which the couple left for a trip through New England.She graduated from West • Virginia University and was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. She is employed byMRS. DAVID RAMKEY. . . former Helga Paxtonthe Mercer County Board of Education, Her husband is an alumnus of Marshall University and was a member of Alpha Kappa Psi professional ira-temiiy. He is employed by Brown and Edwards.They will reside on Rt. 5, Princeton.Showers were given by Mrs. Rita Sprigg, Mrs. Roy Cutfip, Mrs. Bill Boggs and Mrs. Her-sliel Brown.
