Este) Eckart in a 2:30 p.m. ceremony July 27 at the Wesleyan Church, Delphi, with the groom's father, the Rev, Estei Eckart, officiating.Assisting at the rites were uncles of the groom, the Rev, Kelso Eel: art, Rev. Crest on Eckart and Rev. Ernest Batman,The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick S. Medbourn and the groom is the son of Rev. and Mrs. Este! Eckart, all of Delphi,Mrs. James Green, of Delphi, was organist and accompanied Miss Jo Ann Ott, Marion, soloist.Black wrought iron candela-bras and a bouquet of rainbow colored flowers banked thealtar with candles on the pews down the double aisle,GIVEN IN MARRIAGE by her father, the bride appeared in an A-line gown of organza over taffeta with hand-clipped Chantilly lace appliques on the skirt and bodice and edging the long sheer sleeves. Seed pearls and sequins highlighted the neckline. Bands of lace appliques accented the chapel train attached at the shoulders. A lace half-hat trimmed with pearls and crystals secured her elbow-length veil of silk illusion. She carried white roses and step-hanotis on a white Bible.Matron of honor, Mrs. David Gibbs, of Frankfort .attended her sister in a yellow gown and maid of honor, Miss Dorothy Medbourn, another. sister, of Delphi, wore blue, . The groom’s sister, Miss Lois Eckart, appeared in pink and Miss Debora Gunn, Marion, was attired in a green frock.. The attendants wore matching headpieces and each, carried a long-stemmed yellow rose..The mother of the' bride chose a pink lace suit with white accessories while the groom’s mother selected a peach suit with beige accessories. Each wore a corsage of daisies in rainbow colors.David Eckart, Delphi, served his brother as best man and groomsmen were Victor Wilson, Frankfort, Phillip Eckart, Indianapolis, and David Gibbs, Frankfort. Ushers were Daniel Eckart, Indianapolis, Tom Schench, Frankfort, Randall Hudson, Reynolds, and Stephen Packer, Traverse City, Mich, TONJA LAMB, Lafayette, was flower girl, ring bearer was Robert Williams, of Burlington, and train bearers were Ellen Satterfield, Rockford, HI., and Wesley Huff, Georgetown.A reception was held at Honan Hall following the ceremony. Hostesses were the Misses Linda Jackson, Greens-burg, Kathleen Spurgeon, Indianapolis, and Esteher Eckart, Delphi. Receptionist was Mrs. Craig Gardner, Montieello.The three tiered cake featured a miniature bridal couple at the top of a staircase on which were bridesmaids in rainbow colors. Four heart-shaped cakes flanked the large cake on a square mirror. Pale pink punch was also served.The couple is residing at 4224 South Washington St., Marion.The bride, a graduate of the Delphi high school, is attending Marion College, majoring in elementary education. She is also employed as a secretary in the office of admissions at Marion College, The’ groom, a graduate of Frankfort Pilgrim high school, is attending Marion College, majoring in theology.
