JOSEPH’S OHUKCII.St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic church was well filled with people this moru-feig, when, at 9 o’clock, Miss Lillian Bliss and John L, liatz, of the Anzevger office, were united in marriage. The bridesmaid was Miss Celia Weishar, and the groom’s best man Henry Ratz, a brother. Another brother, Rev. Father Ratz, of Chicago, performed the ceremony according to the sacred ordinances of the Holy Catholic church.The bride was attired in a toilet of white swisa, with satin trimmings,crys-tral lace, a tulle veil, orange blossoms* and lilies of the valley.The bridal party were driven to fclie residence of the groom’s parents, where a grand wedding feast was spread, which was partaken of by a large assemblage of friends. To-night Mr. arid Mrs. Eatz will hold a reception at their rooms over Miss Stebbins’ millinery store,The bride is a young lady who lias long resided in Freeport. Her parents are dead, and she has made her home for some years with Mrs. J. H. Wright, and is one of the faithful clerks in Mrs. Benson’s establishment. She is known by a large number of our people, and is a young lady who has many friends who wish for her a world of happiness and comfort in her married life. The groom is a son of an old citizen, is a printer by trade, and works in the ^ *?-eeiger office. He is industrious and energetic, and will make a good husband.
