It was designed in an A-line style with appli-qued embroidered roses trimming the empire waist, sleeves and a band around the skirt. The cathedral train was trimmed with matching embroidery and chapel - length net veil was caught into a halo band embroidered with seed pearls. She carried one longstemmed white rase.Mrs. Richard Rusthoven, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor. She wore a street-length empire sheath of gold silk brocade and carried one long-stemmed yellow rose.Assisting as bridesmaids were Christine and Florence Boerema, sisters of the bride.
