J Kemp, Methodist minister of* ftciated using the double ring ceremony in the presence of the immediate families and a large number of friends.Preceding the ceremony Miss Lois Jones played wedding selections and was accompanist for Miss Lila June Morgan, of Marshall, who sang 1 Love You Truly’* and Always.The bride, escorted and given in marriage by her father, wore * street length dress of sky blue taffeta with net and white accesories, with a pink carnation corsage. «• Mist Bemadine Rodgers as maid of honor wore pink sheer with white carnation corsage.The groom wore a tan suit and James Baran, the best man, wore navy blue. Both had boutonnieres of white carnations.Mothers of the bride and groom wore navy blue with white accessories and whRe carnation corsages.Ushers were Jerry Lee and Frank Hollingsworth, cousins of the groom.The bride graduated from Marshal! Community High School in the class of 1953 and is employed at the Illinois Telephone Company office here. The groom served with the U S. Marines, receiving his dicharge in August, 1953, and is employed at Macey*s Feed Store in Martinsville.A reception was held immediately following the ceremony at the home 'of the bride’s, parents. The three-t tiered wedding cake was decorated | with a miniature bride and groom • and was served with punch and mints. | Serving at the reception table were Mis Freda Rasner, and Miss Phyllis jEHedge.I Mr. and Mrs. Hollingsworth will bo at home on a farm, R.
