Philmon-SteinerMr, and Mrs. Armond Royce “Buddy” Philmon of Sweeny, Texas and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Cato of Sweeny, Texas announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Karen Joyce Philmon of Houston (formerly of Sweeny) to David Michael Steiner of Braddock, Pennsylvania, son of Mr. and Mrs. Milton David Steiner of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.The wedding is planned fro 7 p.m. on August 10, at the Country Club of the Pocanos.The bride-to-be attended Sweeny High School and is currently employed at Marsh and McLennan. The groom-to-be is a graduate of West Mifflin High School and is currently employed with United Brotherhood of Joiners.
