Lindy Sue Clary of Home wood and David Charles Lucas of Park Ridge were united in marriage in a double-ring cere mony performed by the Rev Joseph T. Ledwell in the First Presbyterian church in Home wood on June 11. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Willard Clary of Home wood and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Lucas of Park Ridge. The bride was given in mar riage by her brother, Lt. Mi chael Clary, who is stationed with the U.S. Navy Nuclear Submarine division in Califor nia. During the ceremony, ros es were presented to the moth ers of the bride and the bride groom, the bride’s great aunt, Mrs. Verna Ralston of Florida, and the bridegroom's grand mother, Mrs. John Lucas, Sr., of Park Ridge THE BRIDAL GOWN was fashioned of chantilly lace with a hem bcorder of organza and the cathedral veil of imported illusion featured lace appliques and seed pearl trim. The bride carried a bouquet of stephano tis, pink tea roses and baby’s breath. Joan Snyder of Hamden, Conn., was the maid of honor Bridesmaids were Mrs. Mary Clary of Vallejo, Calif., Susan Carroll of Homewood and Don na Smith of Matteson. Tara Clark, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl. The attendants wore pink chiffon gowns and matching chiffon covered garden hats and car ried bouquets of variegated pink carnations, white tea ros es and baby’s breath. Serving as best man was Richard Kinscherff of Cham paign. Groomsmen were David Bendell, Calumet City, Victor Christopherson of Sandwich, and Greg Tolbert of Cham paign The guests were seated by St. Clary and Mark Lucas, brother of the bridegroom. FOLLOWING the ceremony, a luncheon and reception were held at the Condesa del Mar in Alsip. The couple is residing in New Orleans where Lucas is an off shore drilling engineer with the Exxon company Both the bride and bride groom are graduates of the University of Illinois, Cham paign.
