GLADYS BORTIS WEDGladys Burtis, daughter of the late Clyde Burtises, and Frank Doelle. Topeka, Kan., were married July 12 at the Topeka Methodist church at 8 o’clock in the evening. They were attended by Mr and Mrs G. F. Ashlock. sister and brother-in-law of the bride. A reception was held for about 40 guests immediately following the ceremony at the home ofc*vvs *v* a*/\^Uiiuin-law of the bride. The groom, a caterer at the Topeka country club, baked the wedding cake. Mrs Doelle has been employed in Algona for the last 12 years at the Harrison variety store.1 They are making their home at 1930 Lincoln, Topeka. 4DOUBLE SHOWER GIVENMary Keith arid Paula Gerike were were honored at a double kitchen shower at the John Dreesman home with 30 relatives present. Gifts were arranged on separate tables. Their colors of pink and white were carried out. Jacqueline Huber had charge of the entertainment of quizes and identification stunts. Hostesses were Mrs John Dreesman, Mrs Le-land Larson, Emmetsburg, and Mrs Martin Huber.HONOR MARY KEITH
