Mr. Patten was formerly manager of the Freeborn County Creamery.Irene McGuire acted as bridesmaid and Bernard McGuire as bent man. The bride was dressed in a Belguirn blue traveling suit and white tailored hat, The bridesmaid in a huff suit andwhite hat.After the wedding ceremony had been performed all went to the brides home, where a wedding breakfast was served. The house was decorated in pink and white for the occasion and table with roses of the same color.The out of town guests were Mrs. James Patten and daughter. Miss Gladys of Sioux City, Iowa, Miss Gertrude McGowan of Appleton, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Keily, Miss Julia Byron of Waseca; Miss Isabelle Byron of Wenatchee. Washington and William McGuire of Twin Lakes.Many beautiful and valuable presents w-ere received by the w'orthy couple among them beiug a set of China dishes from the Lembke store where the bride was a faithful employee for more than seven years.Mr. and Mrs. Patten leave over the Rock Island Wednesday evening for Chicago where they will make their future home. Mr Patten is private secretary for the president of Morris Company.
