The empire waist was marked with a pink taffeta sash tied in front. Her fingertip veil of illusion was accented with a headpiece of white flowers. She carried a peasant bouquet of white daisies and pink roses.Nancy Notestine attended her sister as maid of honor wearing a gown fashioned after the brides’ in pink dotted Swiss over pink satin, trimmed with a white taffeta sash. She wore a headpiece of pink' flowers and pink veiling, and carried a bouquet of pink daisies accented by white streamers.Both gowns were fashioned by the bride's mother.The groom chose Gene Walters of Defiance as best man. Ushers were Ken Sanders and Jerry Feeney of Defiance.A lawn reception followed the ceremony at the Gale Yeager residence. Registering the guests and gifts was Gayle Yeager, sister of the groom. Servers were Nancy Davis, Brenda Wolf, Patty Holman and Chris Bowling, ail of Ayersville.The newlyweds are residing in Ayersville. Mr. Yeager is a carpentry student at Four County Vocational School.
