The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. R. Edward Owens of Aiken and the late Mr. Owens.Palms, lighted cathoderal tapers and mass arrangements of white mixed flowers in Grecian urns on white pedestals formedthe background for the double ring ceremony at 4 o'clock.The Rev. Malcolm P. Nodine officiated.Music was presented by Eve-reft Summers 11, organist, cousinof the groom.Best man was John Rodes, and ushers were Ronald Dance, brother-in-law of the groom, John Todd, cousin of the room. John Thomas and Henry H. Roberts.Miss Linda Carol Sanders, sister of the bride, was maid ofhonor. She wore a floor-length willow green silk faille with oval neckline and fitted bodice with Empire effect finished in front with a silk rosette. Her accessories were of matching green andshe carried a crescent bouquetof light pink carnations and whitepom-poms.Miss Karen Hess, flower girl, wore a floor-length pink organza dress with matching hat trimmed in lace. She carried a lace basket filled with rose petals.I he bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a pure whitesilk floor-length gown of Pisanttl and Venice lace. The basque bo* dice, finished at the waistline with a tailored fringed bow, was topped with an Empire length lace jacket with elbow length sleeves. The detachable tube trainswept into an aisle wide cathedral length. She wore a watteau of hand-run Alencon lace embroid ered with seed pearls attached to circles of French illusion. Her cascade bouquet was of dusty rose and pink carnations with white pom-poms.Mrs. Sanders chose for her daughter’s wedding a pink lace suit with matching accesories. Mrs. Owens wore a blue linen embroidered sheath with blue ac-« elt;-soi ilt;'s. Both wore pink carnation corsages.A reception followed In the church parlor. Mis. A. C. Hagan kept the bride’s book and assisting were Mrs. R. L. Dance, Mrs. D. L.
