Each had a purple orchid corsage.Dinner was served at Hillies Restaurant, Washington, and a reception was held in the cafeteria of St. Simon’s School. M*iss Peggy From-me, Jasper; Miss Georgia Spaetti, Evansville; and Miss Rebecca Wade and Mrs. Wallace Dougherty, both of Washington, served at the reception.For the couple’s wedding trip to the Poccno Mountains in Pennsylvania, the bride chose a blue pleated polished cotton dress with white accessories and the orchid lifted from her bridal bouquet.They will make their home at 401‘4 W. Seventh St., Jasper, after their return.Mrs Welp is a 1958 graduate of Washington Catholic high school and a 1962 graduate from Marian College. Indianapolis. She is a teacher at Tenth Street School in Jasper. Mr. Welp graduated in 1955 from Jasper high school and attended Oakland City College.
