Jack Van Kekerix, father of the groom, officiated the double ring ceremony in the presence of relatives and friends.The parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Byisma of Hull amERefi^ and Mrs. Jack Van Kekerix of Orange City.Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a toe length gown of white cotton voile, which was designed and made by the bride. Her gown was a high waist with a high banded lace trimmed neckline, long sheer puffed sleeves. The dress was fully lined with aectatc taffeta and trimmed with wide cotton lace bands down the bodice and around the skirt. The widelace also formed a deep ruffleflounce at the hemline. She also wore a long mantilla, also of cotton voile and trimmed with the cotton lace.She carried a bouquet of white roses and pink and blue baby’s breath.Matron of honor and bridesmaid were her sisters, Mrs.Ron De Kam (Helen) and Mrs. Roy Bliek (Janice) respectively. Their dresses were pink and blue made of cotton voile with ruffle trimmed bodice, long puffed sleeves and a ruffle on the bottom of the skirts. Larry Byisma, brother of the bride, was the best man and Henry Wierda, friend of the groom, was groomsman. They each wore black trousers with blue tuxedoes. Jeff Byisma, nephew of the bride, was miniaturegroom. He wore black trousers with white tuxedo. They all wore white carnation bou-tonnierres.Mary Lou Byisma, cousin of the bride, was organist, and Deb Schoulten, friend of the bride, was soloist. She sang the “Wedding Song” and “The Lord’s Prayer.”Candlelighters were Jolyn and Julie Van Kekerix, sisters of the groom. They wore flowered eyelet dresses, lined with pink and blue rayon. They had empire whist’s with short puffed sleeves and a ruffled hemline. They wore coloredsashes to m^teh their lining. Ushers were'Wes Overmanand Wayne Steenhoven, friends of the groom.The bride’s mother chose a jersey blue and white dotted dress with a short sleeve and large box down the side of the long full skirt. The groom’s mother wore a blue knit dress with long sleeves and long straight skirt.Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the fellowship hall. Rev. John Fondse opened with prayer and announced the cutting of the cake.
