Miss Reaud is Honoree atIfcM* ♦Miscellaneous Shower SaturdayJENNINGS, La. - Mrs. M.L.Amaudet and her daughteer, Miss Cecelia Arnaudet, entertained at the family home on May Street Saturday morning at a miscellaneous shower, honoring Miss Pamela Re-aud, bride-elect of Jerry Richert.Upon her arrival, Miss Reaud was given a corsage oi white flowers with a bluebird of happiness” in its petals. Her mother, Mrs, Victor Reaud, Jr., was given a corsage of pink flowers and the rpos-pective groom’s mother, Mrs. Arthur Richert, received a corsage of white flowers.Grounds for StatePark Bequeathedto CommissionBATON ROUGE, La. (Sp)—’The grounds for a fourth state park in St. Tammany parish have been bequeathed to the Louisiana State Parks and Recreation Commission by the late Frank G. Otis whose will was probated July 19 in 22nd Judicial Court at Covington, L.A. Talley, State Parks Director, said recently.The Otis will provides that a public park be made out of the Otis estate, Fairview, on the east side of the Tchefuncte River just northeast of Madisonville. Otis asked that the park be named Fairview Park, or Fairview Riverside Park.A color scheme of white and silver was used in flowers and decorations throughout the home.Miss Shelia white entertained the guests with impromptu piano selections and accompanied herself as she sang several clever songs. The gifts were brought in in a small decorated wagon and were opened for everyone’s admiration.In the dining room, the table held a centerpiece of white gladioli and chrysanthemums, with white candles burning in silver candelabra on either side. At one end of the table, Mrs. Victor Reaud, Sr., grandmother of the honoree, served punch.
