Cltilders’ parents are Mr. and Mrs. Forrest E. Childers Sr., of Route two, Thomasville.Dr. Felix B Peck of Yonkers, N Y., who is an uncle of the bride,! will be officiating minister and Mrs. Frank Townsend will be soloist for the nuptial music program. with William Palmer as organist. Both musicians are residents of Thomasville. The bride will be given in marriage by her!father and will have as her honor attendant. Miss Nancy Myers, while Misses Shirley Burris, Diana Jones. Marv Ann Childers, the latter a sister of the bridegroom.and Mrs. James Grimes will be bridesmaids. Honorary bridesmaids will be Misses Sue Kanoy. Nell Newby, Ann Allmond, Rebecca Pollock. Va.Miss Clodfelter entertained herattendants at the Sheraton Hotel in High Point recently, the event taking the form of a dinner at seven o’clock. Pink and white flowers carried out an effectivecolor note in the table appointments and the bride-elect took thatopportunity of presenting her attendants with souvenirs of her wed-A course dinner was served.Final pre-nuptial events include the rehearsal party and cake-cutting next Saturday at Fellowship Hall at Memorial Methodist Ouireh when Mrs. J.
