Million Dollar Movie on Jesse James to Be Filmed in StateJEFFERSON CITY _ A million dollar movie on the life of Jesse James will be filmed in Carter county, Mo., in mid-August, according to information received in the state capitol.Twentieth-Century Fox studios will spend nearly $1,000,000 on a Cinemascope, technicolor film of the life of the famous Missouri outlaw. The film will star Jeffrey Hunter and Robert Wagner, who will head what has been described as a “youthful cast.”A crew of from 125 to 150 actors, photographers and technicians will be brought to Missouri for the film. In addition to the professionals, 100 horses and riders will be hired in Carter county for extra roles in the movie. Actual Carter county farm houseswill be used as film locations.Twentieth-Century Fox Studios made • similar movie on the life of the notorious outlaw at Pine-ville, Mo., 18 years ago, starring Tyrone Power and Henry Fonda as the James brothers.According to information at Jefferson City, the movie crew will be housed at Van Buren, Mo.
