A. Howard was officiantton the. double ring ceremony which was performed in the presence of relatives and close friends of the couple.For her wedding, the bride wore a black and white three-piece outfit with straight black skirt worn with a long-sleeved white blouse and a black and white checked middy overblouse. She wore a small white pill box hat and her only jewelry was a gold chain and small goldcross. The bridal flowers werewhite carnations worn In a corsage.Billie Dowden, sister of the bridegroom, and Larry Nichols of Port Arthur were the couple's attendants. The maid of honor wore a sleeveless black shift over a long-sleeved white blouse. Her accessories were in black.Following the informal ceremony ,1 reception was held in the Thibedeaux home. An off-white lace cloth covered the refreshment table that was centered with the punch bowl set in a circle of small flowers.The tiered wedding cake was topped with a miniature bridal couple and was served by Billie Dowden. Mrs. Francis Thibedeaux presided at the punch bowl.
