Ott, 717 South Union street were hosts at a delightful event on Saturday, April 2SLU, in commemoration or their golden wedding anniversary.At 3 0:00 o'clock the [lev. Joseph Kohler performed the golden anniversary mass at St, Francis church in the presence of many friends after which a banquet was served at 12:00 o'clock at Baisakis Inn. Places were marked for SO friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. J. II. Du gal neled as master and mistress of ceremonies. During the. day hundreds of friends gathered at the Ott home to offer congratulations to the* honored couple.Mr. and Mrs, Ott- were united hi marriage April 29th, 1901, in Lake Leelanau (Provemcmt), and after spending several years there and in Buttons Bay they located in Traverse City which has been their home for many years. They’ ! are the parents of a son. AlbertJ. Oil of this city and a daughter. Mrs. James C. Tilft of Detroit/They have two grandchildren, John A. Ott, Jr., ’East . Lansing, a nil a grand daughter, Mrs, O. Hobson of Honor and a great grand chi Id, Od \ A. Hobson of Honor.
