A wedding of interest in the Farm ington neighborhood occurred in Atchison today, when Miss Mattie Lukashavic and Fred J. Ashe were united in marriage. The marriage ceremony was performed at 7:30 this morning by Father Gabriel in St. Nenedict's church, in the presence of immediate relatives of the bridal couple. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Katherine Lukashav ic, of St. Joe, and Roy O'Fallon, of Atchison, was the best man. The bride, a very pretty girl, wore a gray traveling dress, and white panama hat. She has taught the Bell school near Farmington for two years, and is not only a sweet young woman, but f is said to be @ remarkably good teacher. The groom is the son of Mrs. John L. Gillen, of Farmington. He is a splendid young man, and his neighbors will regret to learn he is taking his bride to a new home. Mr. and Mrs. Ashe left at 3:45 this after noon for Montana, where they will make their home, Mr. Rashe will farm in Montana, Mrs. Sidney Martin, who has a room at the home of Mrs. C. B. Hul ings, at 1081 Santa Fe street, is quite with neuraigia, Miss Mary MacLennon, of Topeka, and Miss Myra Rogers, of Lawrence, will be guests of Miss Alice Brown for the Elks’ dance Friday night. Mrs. C. V. Jacobs will entertain the ladijes of Trinity Lutheran church to morrow afternoon. Mrs. Charley Pepper, of Kansas City, and her mother, Mrs. 5. L. Ben jamin, of Atchison, returned to Atch ison last evening after visiting kin in Effingham. They will remain here several days, when Mrs. Benjamin will accompany her daughter to Kan sas City. Mrs. Rosa Zibold is quite ill at her home on Price boulevard. Her daugh ters, Mrs. Theo, Intfen and Mrs. C. C. Finney, are remaining with her alter nately to ausie, in caring for her,
