SSOURI, FRIDAY, APRIL 30, 1901Mashek-Shilharvey.St. Mary’s church, at Mashek, was the scene of a very pretty wedding on Wednesday morning April 21, 1909, being that of Miss Mamie Shilharvey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Shilharvey, and John Mashek, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jno. Mashek. n I The bride was attended by two bridesmaids, Misses Rosa id Mashek and Anna Shilharvey; a the two groomsmen were Joseph d- Shilharvey and Joseph Mashek.All parties are of Mashek vici-nity. The bride wore a gown tn.of handsome white messaline satin, beautifully trimmed with ly net and silk buttons, and her pretty white veil was caught j with white carnations. The bridesmaids were becomingly a attired in white silk pongee and j looked very neat. The groom u I and the two groomsmen wore the usual black, making a dres-t sy and neat appearance. The ,{' bridal party as they ascended to the altar steps were met by ^ their pastor, Rev. Father Ste-~r pan of St. Louis, who performed g the ceremony.After the ceremony the bridal 'L party adjourned to the home of ^r the bride where the wedding ;d breakfast-oinner was served to them and immediate family rel-rtiativesand friends. After the id feast, dancing to excellent music was indulged in throughout b, the whole night and a table full y, of delicious foods and drinks in was kept spread all night and v- in all respects the occasion was n- pleasant in the extreme. The is presents received were unusu-. ally pretty and very handsome.The bride is a general favorite among her many friends;^ she is a lady of pleasing manner. The groom is a prosperous iWj and successful farmer. He i^ well known and liked and has I » -• many friends. Mr. and Mrs. fu Frank Kutis and Miss Cecilia J ” Pavelee of St. Louis and Mr. I * and Mrs. Joseph Ziska of I French Village, 111,, came for . the occasion.
