DOUBLE WEDDING 4T BOONVILLK.A most beautiful double wedding took place in the M. E church Thursday night, when Miss Moravia Campbell and Mr. Albert Deutsch, and Miss Emma Bateman and Mr. Charles M. Handy were united in the holy bonds of wedlock, Kev. Wilsonofficiating. The church was tastily deco*rated with wild flowers and potted plants, and ere the time arrived for the ceremonyit was crowded with the friends of the ♦young couples. Promptly at 8 o’clock, to the entrancing strains of a wedding march, performed by Bohrer’s orchestra, the young people entered the church preceded by the ushers. Messrs. Will McKinney, Cullen Sheptaughj Cha*. Taylor and Tom Downs, of Evansville. Following these came the bridesmaids, Miss Era Jeter andAnna Deutsch, of Oakland City: next came twf little girls, Katherine Swint and Maddeline Wycrbacher, who opened the decorated gates leading to the altar: then the grooms, supported by their best i* « », Mr. Ed. Krebs and James Campbell, and lastly the brides, the picture of loveliuess and happiness.The ring service was performed by Itev. Wilson in a most impressive manner. Never was a happier marriage consummated than the union of these two young, couples.The brides were attired in beautifuldiesses of cream silk landsdowh with•chiffon trimmings, gloves of cream color, white slippers’bouquet of bride’s roses. The grooms wore the conventional black.Miss Bateman is the daughter of Samuel Bateman, a prominent farmer of this county, and is a clnmrfing and winsome lady, well liked by ail her friends and associates She will make a charming companion to the man of her choice.Charles M. Handy is too well known and liked in this city and county to need any introduction. He is a rising young lawyer of ability, honest and industrious.Miss Moravia Campbell is a prepossessing lady who has resided in Boonville since childhood^ and numbers her friends by the scoic. She will make a charming helpmate to the man to whom she is wedded, gracing his home with her charming and pleasant ways.Mr. Albert Deutsch is a prominent and rising young merchant of Oakland City, and is an honest and industrious business man, and is well liked wherever he is known.
