Mr. and Mrs. Wolfs(Winter photography) FAYETTE — Linda Christine Teepe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Teepe, Fayette, and David Wolfs, son of Mr. and Mrs, Joe Wolfs, West Union, were married Saturday, April 27, at First Methodist church, Fayette.Bouquets of yellow mums marked the altar for the 1 p.m. double ring service performed by the Rev. Mrs. Dale.Mrs, Verdell Schmalle and Mrs. Gordon Leech, provided the music. Both are from Fayette. Selections were “I Love You Truly,” “Wedding Prayer” and “The Lord’s Prayer.”Both sets of parents accompanied the couple to the altar. The bride was gowned in dacron organza. The gown had a high rise waistline, fitted bodice with long bouffant sleeves and an A-line skirt with a detachable tubular chapel train. Chantilaee and crystal pleating marked the gown. A Juliet bonnet secured the bride’s cathedral length mantilla which was outlined with ehan-tilace. The bride carried a cascade bouquet of yellow roses and baby’s breath.Mrs. Dennis Baumler, West Union, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. She wore a pink flocked polyester crepe gown with a high rise waistline with a self belt, long puffed sleeves trimmed in lace and a train flowing from the skirt. She wore a short pleated veil of pink and carried a long stemmed pink rose with streamers.A niece of the bridegroom, Carolyn Ihde, West Union, and Jane Teepe, Fayette, sister of the bride, were the bridesmaids. They wore gowns like the matron of honor but in yellow and blue,respectively. Their veils were yellow and each carried a long stemmed rose with streamers.The flower girl, Nancy Ihde, West Union, a niece of the bridegroom, was the flower girl. She wore a white gown like the bridal attendants and carried a white basket of colored carnations and baby’s breath.A nephew of the bridegroom, Micheat Wolfs, West Union was the ring bearer.Arthur Wolfs, West Union, was best man for his brother with Dennis Baumler, West Union, brother-in-law of the bride and Mark Ihde, West Union, nephew of the bridegroom as attendants. Ushers were Arthur Ihde, West Union, brother-in-law of the bridegroom and Doug Langer-man, cousin of the bride. The men wore black tuxedos with colored shirts.For her daughter’s wedding, Mrs. Teepe wore a floor-length gown of yellow polyester knit with the top accented in yellow dotted swiss. Mrs, Wolfs wore a pink floor-length gown of acetate nylon crepe with full sheer chiffon sleeves. Both wore white carnation corsages with streamers.Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the church basement. A bride and bridegroom topped the fourtiered round wedding cake which was decorated with white, blue and pink trim, roses and white doves. Mrs. Will Langerman baked and decorated the cake.Caro! Lau, Fayette, presided at the guest book. Rose Orr, Barb Nachtman and Leslia Wolfs opened the gifts.Mrs. Langerman and Mrs. Wayne Bentley, aunt of the bride, cut the cake. Mrs. Arthur Wolfs, sister-in-law of the bridegroom served the ice cream. Mrs, Arthur Ihde, sister of the bridegroom, poured the coffee and Mrs. Jim Orr, aunt of the bride, punch. Waitresses were Jenny Fuller and Cindy Bentley.After a short wedding trip the couple will have a rural route West Union address.The bride, a 1973 graduate of Fayette High school, is employed at Schult Cafe, Fredericksburg. Her husband, a graduate of North High school, served two years in the Army, and is with H and H Distributing Co.K; RobinsonsobserveanniversaryMr. and Mrs. Kendall Robinson, who will celebrate their 35th wedding anniversary Tuesday, April 30, were honored at the home of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Wolfgram in Cedar FalLs.Mrs. Harry Chase baked and decorated the cake which was on the serving table. The cake was decorated in yellow and Mrs. Robinson was presented a corsage of yellow roses and Mr. Robinson, a boutonniere of two yellow roses.Mrs. Dan Wolfgram cut and served the cake, Mrs. Donald Wolfgram poured the punch and Mrs. Arthur Wolfgram, coffee.Guests were from Oelwein, Lament, Elgin, Dunkerton, Denver, Waverly and Waterloo.
