Mr. and Mrs. Richard Sines, 1212 S. Center St., Bringhurst, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary while vacationing in Florida. Sines and the former Marjorie Jordan were married Feb. 13, 1949, in the Flora Church of the Brethren by the Rev. Dumond. Mr. and Mrs. Lines were in the petroleum business for 37 years, retiring in 1989. They have two sons, Jeffrey of Indianapolis and Thomas of Valparaiso, and three grandchildren. A family dinner is being planned at a later date.
