'! -S ppo!a*Monto.A pretty home wedding was solemnized Thursday evening. April 20, when Miss Saima Sippola, became the bride of Alexander Monto of Chicago, !■!. The Rev. K. S. Salonen of Iron* * wood officiated.The ceremony was performed at the home of rhe hrirfp? sister Mrs. Emil Kelto. which was attractively decorated for the occasion with a profu-5 sion of a variety of cut flowers and’feathery greenery. The double ring ceremony took place beneath an arch way decorated with festoons of greenferns and various cut flowers.The bride was attended by her sis-! ter Mrs. Emil Kelto, as matron of honor. Mrs. Kelto was gowned in a uMto organdie and carried a bounuetof p!nk sweet peas. Little Miss Vivian Kelto who was flower girl, wore a dainty froc k of pink colored organdie made w ith many tiny ruffies. She carried a basket of flowers. The bride looked charming in a white ^atin gown trimmed in Spanish lace and pearl ornaments. The bridalveil made with a coronet of pearls and lace enveloped the happy bride. She carried a large bouquet of white and lillies of the valley.The bridegroom was attended byEmil Kelto. Following the ceremony a tasteful supper was served to the immediate friends and relatives present.Mrs. Monto is a graduate of our Bessemer high school and the Northern Stat** Normal at Marquette. She has been teaching for the last few; years.A Monto is a graduate of the Uni* i versity of Chicago and has a Bachel-or of Science Degree and has also been teaching.Mr. and Mrs. Monto will leave shortly for the Philippine Islands where j they both have appointments in educational work.
